Nichushkin drew a lot of attention since I drafted him with the 6th overall pick in June. He was untouchable until now. In the past couple days I've sent some GMs a package of players that included Nichushkin to land an elite player. I lowered my standards a bit today and went for Kadri, whom I wouldn't call elite, but still top level. To pull the trigger right now instead of waiting on answers from other GMs, I asked Ottawa to swap picks. Valeri Nichuskin will turn into an elite sniper and should develop into a good hitter too. We all know the value of such a player here.
