Re: October 3, 2013
Impressive displays from last season's Stanley Cup finalists as the Penguins take care of business against the Devils and the Flames pick up two points in impressive fashion with a road victory over the Caps. Some unlikely goal scorers show up on the stat sheet for the Bruins in their easy win over the Lightning. The Predators don't miss Martin Erat one bit while he's in the minors as they handle the Blues. The Panthers get a shaky start from Jacob Markstrom, but remember in the second period that they're playing the hapless Stars and cruise to a 4-2 win. The Coyotes get good nights from their stars as they down the Rangers. San Jose and Los Angeles also win, making it a standard night for the top dogs of the Pacific Division. It'll be interesting to see if new contender Calgary can keep pace throughout the year after leaving the cupcake Northwest Division and entering the lion's den. That'll be one hell of a race to follow this season.

Re: October 3, 2013
I don't even know what the fuck, especially with the box score. 6 goals in a game and 3 fights?
Re: October 3, 2013
Impressive to say the least.
Three goals coming from the backend and Stéphane Robidas making a statement in his first game as a Flame.
We wave Wayne Simmonds goodbye.

Re: October 3, 2013
Scoring from both top lines, two power play goals, a solid defensive effort, plus a huge game from Alex Grant. I'll take it.

Re: October 3, 2013
Nice debut win for Vasilevski, and a wildly lopsided shutout for Al "The Forgotten One" Montoya on the farm. Too bad we can't play Vancouver every night (no offense)...
