To Ca$hville:
Winchester(61)
Vlasic(88)
5th TB 2013
To Calgary:
Tootoo(78)
Exelby(69)
3rd NJ 2013
I want to call up Collberg from AHL and needed to make room for him. Tootoo has another year to his 1.3M contract and Winchester is cheaper and I'll probably send him in the AHL to fill up Collberg's spot. I also needed to upgrade my defense by either trading Exelby or Vishnevsky, and Vlasic is definitely an upgrade. Since Vlasic should be a worthy resigning, we decided to trade the two picks in compensation.
Thanks CGY !
** I'm on fire (two trades this week omg)

Re: Calgary - Nashville
Had my eyes on Jordin for a while now.
He's a rare combo of cost effectiveness, leadership, consistency, willingness to drop the gloves and ability to play C.
Garnett Exelby is a physical defenseman and a takeaway-monster.
Winchester was my 13th forward but he was decent enough to not waive him.
Vlasic had limited ice time and his offensive abilities weren't useful given the great top 4 in front of him.
Loading up for next draft, the pick swap is what it costs NSH for landing the best player of the deal.
Good luck Seb.
