Needed a good top 6 forward to replace Brown and Beach, Alfie has great leadership to go with his good offensive skill, he will help for sure down the stretch. Quick was a very good backup for me, but newly acquired Toivoinen will fill the hole easily. Add some picks to my empty bank.

Accept, season has been completely disappointing and the Alffy experiment obviously hasn't worked out. Tukonen will smash bodies on a line with Hall and I'm hoping Quick can provide a better backup game than Jake Allen, who was useless in 2012.

Trade approved.

Mike gave up his 2nd in the upcoming draft to land Alfie from Ottawa in the offseason. It appears that pick will be top 40, a hefty price for a player on his way out the door. Tukonen and Quick are useful pieces to acquire for a player with a season or two left.

Injuries have hit LA's forwards fairly hard thus far. Alfredsson is an ok offensive stopgap.
