Re: December 22, 2012
Boston isn't interested in fading away as they post a W over another Southeast visitor. Kopitar, Kovalchuk, and Seguin all light the lamps again. Ovechkin wins the contest in overtime for the Wings; Buffalo wins a close battle at the Saddledome. San Jose's first line shows up in Los Angeles.

Re: December 22, 2012
Phew, I was a tad concerned with this game to be honest. After Niemi's poop performance nice to see Price with a solid game and Chipchura chipping in. Nemeth scores in back-to-back games? Crazy. Well deserved 4 days off for the boys, although we return with another ridiculous road back-to-back.
Wish some of my east counterparts would start losing more (CAR, PIT, BOS).

Well back to back convincing wins, things seem to be back on track, Kovy still doing a good job.

Happy with a point there in a b2b. My lack of defensive forwards hurt me in that game. Still looking to trade a defenseman. McIlrath comes back soon. Gotta move a guy. Brad Stuart and Tomas Kaberle. Come and get them.
Also, fail for Nail working out well for Minnesota.

Re: December 22, 2012
Heatley and Kovalchuk are having quite remarkable seasons. Wouldn't it be great to see them reunited? Eh? Ehhhhh?
Favourite game moment:
-Pavel Kubina beat Sidney Crosby in a fight.
Also somehow Okposo had a 7 rating for taking one shot and having an otherwise empty stat line in 4:50. His mood swung from 'slumping' as it has been for nearly 2 months straight to... very good. Uh, didn't the team doctors catch his bipolar disorder in the post-trade physical?
