Reasoning: Timonen will get icetime on the PP with Streit. He has at least one more year to play. Adding this Veteran will solidify my defensive corps. I'd rather draft next year than this year. I hope I'll make the fucking playoffs this year with all these acquisitions.

Rangers confirm. Would have liked more return for Kimmo, but 37-year-olds just don't get much play these days. There are still some decent guys left on the board now, and the 5th is another chance for a bonus. Plus, with the money freed up by trading Timonen, I might be able to target a cheap FA or two later this summer.
