The lack of Rob Scuderi is obviously a difference maker in Newfoundland tonight as Worcester takes a 2-1 series lead. The Whale win on the first shot of OT to take a commanding 3-0 advantage. Manchester doubles up Portland in shots on goal and secures a one-goal triumph to push Portland to the brink. Wilkes-Barre pots three PPGs en route to Hershey and taking a 2-1 edge.

Cool beans. Nielsen awakens from his slumber to basically win the game singlehanded. I think he put up like 20 points in the last 50 games of the season after going PPG for a while.

This is much more palatable than whatever happened last game with 25 OFF and 40 OFF defenders scoring shorthanded goals within minutes of each other.
