to Montreal Canadiens:
Carlo Colaiacovo (65)
2nd 2012 (either PIT or SJ... whoever finishes last) (commish note: also related to this trade)
to Pittsburgh Penguins:
Paul Martin (78)
Reasoning: I felt like Colaiacovo wasn't strong enough for a Stanley Cup winning top 6. As they say, defense wins championships and Phoenix proved that last year. Martin adds better passing, consistency and leadership.
MTL -- PIT

Re: MTL -- PIT
Confirmed. After adding Boyle had to cut a little bit of cap. Carlo will only be playing for the next two and a half weeks until Nemeth returns. Martin's ice-time was most likely going to decrease with the arrival of Boyle (especially when Nemeth is healthy) so I will take a filler 6th/7th guy making a third of the cost plus a pick.
