To Columbus: Francois Beauchemin (75)
To Calgary: Columbus 2nd round pick 2012, conditional Columbus 5th round pick 2013*
*Pick will be sent to Calgary if Columbus accepts Beauchemin's team option for next season.
Reasoning: Beauchemin is an excellent defenseman to fill in for Salei so that I can make Salei my 7th defenseman. He has high CON and Salei's attributes are starting to regress. Beauchemin also comes with a high LE ceiling which will come in handy if I decide to keep him for next season. Seeing as how Chris Phillips and the additional year left on his contract was worth a mid 2nd, Beauchemin is worth a lower second based on less LE for this season, a lower CON, and a less balanced offense.
Pleasure doing business with you, Julien.

Re: Columbus/Calgary
Great depth on defense now allows me to go looking out for a rental for this year's playoff run as Francois Beauchemin is sent to Columbus.
Beauchemin was good for my team all year long but something tells me he loses his 6th spot come tomorrow night.
Getting something worthy in return was logic since I have at least 3 guys that could get the call anytime now.
Thanks, Adam.

Re: Columbus/Calgary
Using Beauchemin's option. Will send 2013 5th rounder to CGY.
