Columbus receives: Marian Gaborik (80)
New York Rangers receive: Rostislav Klesla (70) and Fredrik Modin (62)
NYR sheds some salary, I give up a top 4 defenseman to get my top line LW to play with Nash and Brassard.

Re: Columbus/New York Rangers
I agree.
Had to shed some $$$, tho it was hard to let go of Gabbo. Not too many nibbles for these big salaries --- I guess the cap structure here is working?
Klesla sharpens up my blueline, while giving my prospects some time to grow in Hartford; Modin "replaces" Gabbo on RW.

We think the reasons given are quite valid and therefore this trade is Accepted . Committee members Philadelphia and Buffalo are in agreement.
