One hell of a night in EHEC tonight, boys, as I'm filling in for Nick who is ill (not the cool kind of ill). First, Jason Spezza gets a six game suspension for taking Nick Bjugstad out until basically next training camp. Los Angeles gets hit with the injury bug yet again with Paul Stastny out until mid-May. Shane Doan racks up his 897th first star of the night, setting a new personal record for goals scored in a season. My Jackets rick roll the Bruins, while Washington holds the Habs to a whopping nine shots on goal. Philadelphia takes care of Florida, Carolina takes care of Buffalo as nobody wants that final Eastern Conference playoff spot. Femur somehow wins despite not playing tonight.

All that and a whole lot more here: http://www.ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip

Nice to pick up 3 points on a tough back-to-back on the road. 2/6 on the PP and 0/0 on the PK is fantabulous.

-Joe Pavelski has marked a new career high in points with 60 points.

Way to cost me a zillion dollars in bonuses, mini Joe!

Can't believe that I didn't notice that Nash had gone 10 games without a goal. Glad to see he removed his head from his ass.

Good to see Sturm finally get a point... I guess. Low shots, could have gone either way so I guess it's a step towards being a proper team again... Don't want this divisional lead to slip away though.

You can't stop Doan. He's like Mike Jones. Except he doesn't need a shotgun.

By fighting John Erskine, Josh Bailey received his first PIMs of the year. (The fight was a draw. :| )

As appealing as that is, if we somehow, someway came away with that win, we would then turn around and completely shit the bed against the next 6 teams before finally winning another game and completing the cycle all over again.
