EHM continues its torrid affair with 4-3 games, +/- a goal every other game. No ATIs tonight - just lots of roughing and fighting - but some GMs need to update their lines from game 2's shenanigans.

In BUF, the Sabres take a 3-1 lead late in the 2nd from Leo Carlsson's first career playoff goal. The night belongs to the Sens' McDavid, who returns from a day-to-day injury to put up 2G+1A, including the OT winner (the first shot, of course), in no small part thanks to a 36-16 advantage in shots. OTT leads 2-1.

Over in TOR, the Leafs take an early lead but let up a shorty in a rare game with 1 PP goal on each side. Veterans Toews, Fowler and Crosby all score for the Bolts in the third to put the game away, and TB led in shots 32-19. All road wins so far in this series as TOR leads 2-1.

In Newark, the Devils take an early lead and a mid-game lead but squander both, then allow another Rare Powerplay Goal early in the 3rd. James Greenway ties it up with 5 to go, so we head to OT. There, Zachary L'Heureux finishes things off for the Rangers (on the 4th shot of the period, in case you were wondering), who dodge the prospect of a sweep and make for a second series with no home victories so far. NJ leads 2-1.

In Steeltown, the Pens take a patented early lead thanks to Yak City but lose it in under 3 minutes. Yak ties it up early in the third, but Oskar Olausson pots the eventual game winner and Dillon Dube (ugh) dusts the game off with his empty net hat trick goal. This series features no road victories and PIT is up 2-1.

The WC games were the usual 9 goal total, good teams beating bad results.
