Greetings adventurers! My final sim in Feb '26 and there was some 'stuff' I suppose?
The homers start off right as the bottom-feeding Blue Jackets up end the Blues 3-1. The fact both sides had 4 PPs a piece is the other news story I suppose, and CBJ did pot 1. STL must have been reeling not knowing what that's like this season.
Homers con't in their ways as CHI wins another 3-1 over the traveling 'Nucks. In fairness it was 2-1 with a late EN by Mr. Marsh from Beach and Cohen. VAN 1 for 7 on the PP...probably coulda used one more there. UPL for Chicago though gets a 10-star rating for 1 goal in 31 shots but doesnt even make a star of the game...EHEC...
In the first and only sister-kissing of the evening, DET and PGH continue their playoff marches, 3-3. Adam Larsson is the 10 star playing with 13, yes, THIRTEEN FREAKING HITS and no giveaways. He, too, cannot be named a star of the game...
I head into FLA and continue somehow putting up Ws, this time thanks to going 2-7 on the PP, though its the unusual Kylington and Howden PP scorers. The 10-star effort this game was my sweet boi Cutter Gauthier (dont get jealous Bischel) who gets 1 apple, 4 shots, 3 hits, 1 give, 1 take. Let's all say it together - he.didn't.get.a.star.of.the.game.
In the mandatory LTI of the evening, the Wild win 3-0 but not before Oliver Suni (?) is hurt for just over a month, earning NJ's Alex Alexeyev (??) a 6 game sitdown.
The sharks DO NOT get a tie nor kiss their sister, and instead WALLOP the Jets 6-1. Yikes. In fairness going 3-for-6 on the PP will do that. 10-star rating Vlad 'the terrible' Tarasenko gets a hattrick and an assist, but let's ONCE again say it together...oh wait nevermind he got the first star. Good job buddy! Funnily enough, the sharks 3 PP goals were NONE of Tarasenko's so he had all 3 of their even strengthers.
Preds rebound over Washington 3-1 with 2 goals in the first, nothing in the second, and they swap in the third. The 10-star affair is Nikita Filatov, and back to not making the games top 3.
What a weird game we play.

Minor fact check but Tarasenko's second goal was on the PP and Milan "zero known off-ice behavioural issues" Lucic had the 6th and most crucial goal at evens.
Anyway, the moral of the story is that it's time to get older.
