Confirmed. Losing one of my solid defensive prospects, but I'm stacked with picks, and also have Nemeth and Johns for the backend so I feel I can afford to lose out on a bit of youth to add a quality vet to the team. Martin is most likely going to move into the top pairing and log quite a few minutes for me. Plus Wisniewski is out for a long time, so Martin is a very capable replacement to this depleted blueline. Accepted. Never planned on moving Martin but this gives me a young dman that can hit, not a high calibur prospect but a solid dman that can hit. I also receive a 2nd round pick, which will be low but will help add to my assets, while taking on Mara. Thanks for the easy dealings Montreal and good luck.
