Sorry for the delay, got screwed up by the holidays, forgot it was my sim day.
Anyway, despite being December 26th, the number 4 took front stage as there were four one goal games, each of which saw a team score four goals.
Shane Bowers justified my calling him up with a pair of goals including the winner in a 5-4 comeback win (meanwhile, Grand Rapids came back from being down 4-0 to win 6-5 over Rockford. And yes, Rockford normally sucks, but Bern made three callups and didn't fix his AHL lines, so I autoed them, putting Mueller and O'Reilly on the top line - they put up 7pts between them)
A potential Cup final preview saw Ottawa score three second period goals to go up 3-1, only for Colorado to fight back and put things to overtime...... where Cody Hodgson got the winner for the Sens.
Evan Bouchard took a slashing penalty with barely 2min left in the game, which was tied 4-4. Never a good idea, he must have been very relieved when his teammates killed off the powerplay. Of course, Buffalo won in overtime anyway, but it's the thought that counts, right?
And finally we have a very back-and-forth battle in New Jersey, as the goals literally went; NJ-Nsh-NJ-Nsh-NJ-Nsh-NJ.
