BUF is the only home team to emerge with a point tonight, tying NJ 1-1 thanks to Evan Sarthou's 29-save effort. WAS and CHI both managed to lose 5-4 on the first shot of OT to NYI and NAS respectively; NAS's OT winner was shorthanded to boot. PIT broke the mold by blowing their 3rd period lead in regulation.
