To the St. Louis Blues: D Willie Mitchell

Reasoning: Need to clear about three million dollars in cap space and with Henrik Tallinder nearly the exact same defenseman as Willie minus the leadership capabilities and Willie's salary hit at three million dollars this was an easy decision. Willie wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire either and I think he'll help STL with a veteran presence as he was only getting twelve minutes of icetime a game with us in Vancouver.

Didn't feel comfortable with only 6 NHL caliber defensemen on the team and I could take the salary. Mitchell comes in taking the 6th defenseman spot away from Roman Polak.
