Ben Eager taken out for a month thanks to Paul Gaustad, the Penguins keep impressing and the Flyers dominate the shots on goal battle for their goaltending fails them.

Sure, now Varlamov can shut down Ottawa's offense. Yet in the playoffs, he couldn't even stop a medicine ball.

Woo! Preissing continues to be one of the best FA signings I've made to date. Nice to see The General get a goal and Holmstrom continuing to make an impact, whether he hits the scoresheet or not.

The stat of the night, however, has to be this:
