Sam became too expensive to keep so we went for younger/cheaper.

Yes, things are happening in Buffalo. (insert GIF of grandma waving her hands) The plan has always been to find a 80+ CON scoring winger to play on my top line. Sam fits for the next few years until I'll need to resign the boys. Low cost, high upside move. He should be movable if push comes to shove. This + Kassian is basically me jumping over FA this year.
It's nice to find someone who wants to use Mastro. I messed up last year and believe he can be a very solid player.
