I sorta hate simming nights like this.
But hey here we are. At least the WJC is a fun one!
Rangers beat a recently-failing BOS team with some special teams help.
Sharks mimic the Rags win (3-1) though instead of a special teams win, its a lot of penalties and a battle of greats. Askarov out battles Pavelec.
The great USA out duels the Swedes 6-4 to win the WJC. How do they do it? Well they only go 1-7 on the PP (vs 0-3), but big games from Calle Odelius (10 rating) get lost on an otherwise dominate USA performance. Crus Lucius, Jimmy Snugs, Frank Nazar, and Lane Hutson - future pros there!
