Preds/Habs

* Trade only to be looked at if .... http://www.ehechockey.com/forums/viewto ... f=18&t=261 ... is accepted

To Nashville
D Andrei Markov [80]
F Travis Moen [78]
MTL 2nd 2011
MTL 4th 2010
MTL 4th 2011
F Glen Metropolit [70]
F Matheiu Darche [70]

To Montreal
D Dan Hamhuis [82]
F Zach Budish [66]
F Marcel Goc [61]
NSH 1st 2010
*SJ 1st 2010

Accepted, hard to let go of both 1st but this should really help my D. Markov and Weber will be dirty on the PP, Metropolit and Darche were dumps.

I give up a bit of future, but a defence man like Markov is rare to come by.

It was never stated that Metropolit and Darche were to be assigned to Hamilton. They were waived, and thus became free agents.

This trade is voided.

It was also never stated for them to become Free Agents. Also, why are they still on my team in the file then?

Anyways, doesn't matter, they are not an integral part of this deal so if indeed they are Free Agents, can simply be taken out of this deal.

Montreal Accepts. The rebuild starts with this deal, Markov is somewhat old, and makes quite a bit of money, and I gain some good draft picks, and Hamhuis can play this year to replace the roster spot left by Markov.

Because you don't have the updated file. And for future reference, if you plan on waiving a guy, you should state that you are waiving them to assign them to Syracuse. In the same post, you waived Hal Gill and told me that he was a buyout.

We can probably rework this, since both the players you don't have were in as salary dumps.

As I understand it, the re-worked trade is:

Andrei Markov, Travis Moen, MTL 2nd '11, MTL 4th '10, MTL 4th '11 for Hamhuis, Budish, Goc, SJ 2nd '11, and NSH 1st '10.

MTL (Brad) is out of town, but has given me his word that this is the agreed-upon trade.

That trade is approved and inputted.

Yes, but it's actually NSH 2nd 2010 not SJ 2nd 2011. This is from my PM Box:

To Nashville
D Andrei Markov [80]
F Travis Moen [78]
MTL 2nd 2011
MTL 4th 2010
MTL 4th 2011

To Montreal
D Dan Hamhuis [82]
F Zach Budish [66]
F Marcel Goc [61]
NSH 1st 2010
NSH 2nd 2010

Then he said:

"Its all good, go enjoy your trip and rest assured when you come back the deal will be taken care off."
