DAL-STL game 2 is... well different but also very similar to game 1. The Stars get out of the gate first again, with Arthur Kaliyev potting his 5th of the playoffs 2:49 in. The period is heavily tilted for the Blues, though, with shots 14-3. No scoring in the second leaves Spencer Knight with a shutout heading into the third... which is immediately destroyed by Ethan Gauthier 14 seconds in (40:14), followed by Cozens and Beck at 41:42 and 44:14. Lots of numerology there. Just like game 1, though, the Stars work their way back and Burakowsky and Burmistrov buddy up to tie it with a little under 7 minutes to go. So we head to overtime again, with shots more balanced at 28-23 in favour of STL.
In OT, we get the unicorn of a Rare Powerplay Overtime goal. Exactly one minutes into Riley Heidt's tripping minor, Owen Beck gets his second of the game and STL wins 4-3... again. Challenges are also around 50% for both teams. STL leads 2-0 and also leads 5-1 in PP opportunities.

Yes, they are the dark horse of the NHL now. I'll try to stop them.
