First, TNA won the all-star game 13-8 thanks to hatties from Brady Tkachuk and Taylor Hall, with Seguin, Lafreniere and Caufield potting 2G each as well. Dennis Hildeby played 40 minutes because he's technically the league leader in sv%, notably below .900. Yes, not a single goalie is above .900 this season. Dahlin and OEL led the way with matching -7 ratings for TNA, probably because Hildeby allowed 10 goals on 23 shots (considerably below .900).

On to the games, OEL played over 30 minutes with Hanifin in the Sens' 4-3 OTL to NYR. Daniil Buut scored two early in the game, but then took three straight minor penalties in the 3rd and OT (4 straight minors for Daniils, as Zharkov had one near the end of the 2nd). The Sens technically killed off the last penalty but MDC scored his 23rd just 3 seconds later, with 12 seconds left and with the second shot in OT.

PHI doubled up NYI 2-0 thanks to the timely return of Jagger "Mick" Firkus.

CHI went down 1-3 to STL, losing goalie Christopher Gibson to a dirty, um, groin hit from Cameron Morrison, who gets a 2-game suspension.

DET easily defeated CBS 3-0, with shots 35-15.

DAL lost 1-2 to COL, going 0-6 with 9 shots on the PP, and despite having a 31-16 advantage in shots. Thank Calle Clang, and also some kind of revenge as COL is slightly over the cap now and needs to fix their lines with Pytlik being suspended and a lack of centers.

EHM continues to troll me with SJ losing 4-6 to MTL, as the Sharks go 4/6 with 4 shots on the PP but Yaroslav Askarov allows two unassisted goals in the 3rd, including to defenseman Jonathon Blum. Just what even is that.

ARI salvages a 3-3 tie vs TB despite being outshot 34-17, with Yegor Afanaseyev scoring the heroic game-tying goal with the goalie pulled. Hugo "Who?" Alnefelt continues to climb up the sv% rankings.
