The games have shifted to San Jose in this now best-of-5, in the battle of the WCF. The Sharks have a depleted D core, but the Wangs have lost top forward JVR for the rest of the series, sans-a-game-7. Before game day, Blake took the time for an extra practise session that appeared "good enough to shake some players" which SJ wanted based on frustrations and new faces (aka their 10th Dman). Let's who shows up and who wants a new home in the off season...
Dan's favorite style of player - Fabian Lysell - shows up early for a 1-0 lead. Philly Danault gets on his horse and scores midway through the first to tie it. He's set up by rookie Konsta Helenius, who's getting his own cup of coffee with JVRs "excused" absence.
Into the 2nd period and the Sharks are pulling away. They get the INCREDIBLE PLAYOFF POWERPLAY GOAL, which is obviously, Scott Morrow, unassisted. 14 minutes later, its Scott Morrow, unassisted. Apparently Scott Morrow is some language for "Connor McDavid". Going into the 3rd its 3-1 Sharks.
Disaster in the 3rd though, if you are a Shark or fan thereof. It's Kulikov, Snuggerud, L'Heureux all unanswered. Down 4-3 in the last minute, the goalie gets yanked, but its Sam Reinhart putting the game away in the last 4 seconds.
DET [2]

Game 4 still in SJS is a huge one!

Congrats to Isaiah George on his first NHL point and a -1 in 7:30.
Also thanks to EHM for these extremely sensible results including two unassisted goals by both teams.

That's Buffalo Sabres legend Sam Reinhart with the ENG to seal it. Exactly what you love to see.
