In other consequential game, CHI win again, WPG beats COL (?), BOS defeats MTL. NYI v TOR, EDM v PHI and NJ v OTT all also ended 4-3. OTT was headed to a 3-2 win before Anton Slepyshev earned himself a 25-game suspension for destroying Jared McIsaac indefinitely. The Sens killed off the ensuing major but immedoately gave up the tying and winning goals at even strength. BUF-PIT ended 1-1 just to tamp down the excitement.
