CGY's Cutter Gauthier got a 6 games for taking out MIN's Rolan McKeown for 2 weeks (the league's justice department, headed by Marty McSorley, saw something we didn't).
EDM had one shot in the first period but did not score; that would have been funny.
There waa a 3-3 tie but it did not involve Buffalo, who beat Anaheim 5-2.
