Ottawa vs. Montreal:
Ottawa gets the lone goal in the first, before extending their lead to 2 midway through the second. Montreal would respond though, finding the twine twice before the intermission to head into the third level at 2-2. The Habs would earn their first lead at the 45:09 mark; unfortunately for the fans in Montreal they would promptly surrender the tying goal just 25 seconds later. Ottawa would add a 4th goal later in the third as they take a 4-3 win and a 2-0 series lead.

Tampa Bay vs. Philadelphia:
Mikko Rantanen starts the scoring off just 41 seconds in; Tampa scores the equalizer, but the Flyers pot two more to take a 3-1 lead at the end of 1.
After scoring the only goal of the second, the Bolts would fall back down to a 2 goal deficit early in the third; from there however Tampa makes a strong push, scoring twice to equalize and send the game to overtime. Alas, the comeback ends up being for naught as Michael Del Zotto pots the game winner for Philly, evening the series at 1 win each.
