The Hockey Gods heard it was popcorn night, and they decided to keep things (almost) as interesting as possible.
In the West, The Sharks take down the Stars 4-1, leaving Dallas with just a single point lead over Colorado with two games remaining each.
Meanwhile the Ducks beat the Canucks 5-3, unfortunately ending Vancouver's playoff chances.
The Preds and Wild both win 4-1, over the Jets and Coyotes respectively; neither game has any impact on the standings.
In the East, things get even tighter.
The Bruins beat the Penguins 6-3, while the Panthers take down the Jackets 3-1.
On the flip side, the Islanders suffer a devastating 5-1 loss at the hands of the Devils, failing to knock out the Panthers from contention in the process.
The Leafs take a surprising 2-0 loss to Buffalo, which means that Toronto and New Jersey are even on points.
Carolina loses to Ottawa 4-0, keeping them even on points with Pittsburgh.
Lastly, the Rangers defeat Philly 4-3, giving them a 5 point lead over the Flyers and clinching at least 3rd in the East.
All told, it keeps the three team hunt for 8th in the East alive, with the Isles lead over the Bruins and Panthers falling to 2 and 3 points with 2 left to play.

This is gonna be close. I have a slight advantage from playing Nashville at home. Is Malkin out for both games I wonder? We need injuries shown on the main page somewhere.

1 point up CHI and 2 on LA with a home-and-home vs LA left. Time to clench... I mean clinch.
