We're in the thick of the playoff hunt and positioning now boys. An interesting night, and thankfully one without any LTI (except to egos maybe)

PHI goes up 3-0, then surrenders 3 straight in a missed chance to pick up a valuable point and on the back of a STRONG Stamkos performance. WSH had a fast sign for a backup goalie in the AHL and otherwise played their little hearts out.

PIT's rough play on a undermanned NSH club pays dividends. Nedeljkovic is chased early, they are 2/5 on the PP and earn a good win.

TBL and EDM kiss their sisters with Enroth playing out of his GD mind. 42 shots on net? Dang

No one ever said offense was the problem in CGY (Bedard next year much?) and they chase WPG's starter and coast to a 5-1 win.

In the first of 2 big playoff push games in the west, Dallas beats VAN after an empty netter put them up 4-2, but not before Filip Forsberg made it interesting with a goal in the last minute to give it go. VAN dominated the PP time whereas DAL was the 5-on-5 best.

Before commenting on the West we go to Arizona. Using one of their last Oettinger games pays out as they go up 3-0 and Arizona never makes a game of it after that. DAL remains in 8th with 75 pts (8 games remaining) while VAN and COL are tied at 72 (VAN has 8, COL has 6).

Kings beat the Blues and the Sharks beat the Bruins. That is all on that uneventfulness.
