Two injuries and suspensions from last night, as LA's Andrew Ladd injured Chicago's Tyler Cuma for 18 days (2.57 weeks = 3 games) and Columbus' Dylan McIlrath injured St. Louis' Derick Brassard for 75 days (10.71 weeks = 11 games).

Despite the injury, Chicago pulled out the win in the battle of 1st vs 2nd in the West, while Nashville beat San Jose in the battle of 3rd vs 4th. Ottawa remains the only eastern team in the top 5 of the league
