Our apologies for the delay guys, Adam wasn't feeling well yesterday evening so hopefully I'm as good a pinch hitter as Matt Stairs.

An exciting first Saturday, several OT winners and road teams making statements. Some teams still have a chance to go 82-0 while others are looking for that first win, http://www.ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip is available in preparation for tonight's Sunday sim.

Nice to see Portland pitch a shutout, but Buffalo really needs to step it up here. Hopefully we can pull it together soon and turn this ship around.

Tokarski gets his 1st NHL win, and Kunitz shines in his Lightning debut.
Most recent file here.

I'm liking the offense, but three goals against per game can't be the norm once the offense inevitably goes cold.

Loving the offense, especially from the Joes. I think Adam's going to have a few choice words for Steve Mason when he gets better, though.

Good to see former CBJ plugs Torres and Novotny putting in a solid 8 minutes of effort too. Not to mention a very solid performance from Nabokov despite the rare lackluster showing from Lidstrom.

Pfft, Artyukhin got 2 points, so did Iggy, no biggie. Pacioretty got 2 points, so did Anze, no teezy. That line ain't no special thang.

A win is a win, but it seems like the PK essentially won it for us.

The 2010 Capitals from both the NHL and EHEC do the same.

Don't like kicking off the season with a loss but Phoenix is a heck of a team out West.
