Help.
I just had a new harddrive installed on my computer, and now when I try and load/run PLAYER SCOUT, I get this message:
Class not registered.
You need the following file to be installed on your machine.
MSSTDFMT.DLL
How/where do I find this file?
Any help is appreciated, you can either PM me here, or on Skype.
Thanks in advance.

Also when I try running EHM 1.16, I get a:
Component 'MCI32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

Re: Help.
Did you install the OCX files? And are you running the game as administrator?VancouverCanucksGM wrote:Also when I try running EHM 1.16, I get a:

The module "C:\Windows\System32\MSSTDFMT.DLL" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code

Still no luck, I'm computarded and it's been so long since I DL'd Player Scout, i forgot anything I might have done to get it to run before.

Re: Help.
I've never used it. I find it easier to just look in the players file.TorontoGM wrote:I haven't been able to get player scout to work in 5 years.

GMO - View Draft ProspectsTorontoGM wrote:Scouting at the draft takes a hell of a lot more time without player scout, but GM office should help a little with that.
From there you can create a simple exel sheet, copy/paste and have the draftees all scouted within 20 minutes.
You just need to edit the right HI ceillings depending on players' height.
I used to spend countless hours scouting too.

Re: Help.
Try to run PlayerScout as Administrator and change the compatibility mode to something like Windows 2000 or Windows XP Service Pack 2. (Right click on shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Check the box and go from there; at least, that's how to do it in Windows 7. I don't know anything about Windows 8.)VancouverCanucksGM wrote:Still no luck.
FWIW, you guys can access players.ehm at http://www.ehechockey.com/files/players.ehm

Gave that a try, no luck.
I extracted the files, but when I still try to load/run the program, I get the same original message about the missing file.

You can also run programs with administrator access from the start menu by holding ctrl+shift before pressing enter/clicking on the link.
