The Flames really went hard after Holland, whom I didn't intend to trade. But in the end, I couldn't pass on the opportunity to add two good young players to my rebuilding plan.

I wanted Holland from free agency, unfortunately I wasn't the highest bidder.
I'm missing guys that can win draws and on top of that Shawn Matthias is out for 3 months so this fills some needs.

I don't mind overpaying to get the guy I want.
