A monster game for Mats Sundin as Wayne Simmonds gets handed a monster suspension. He'll be out the next 12 games for taking out Saku Koivu. A shocker in Philly, a shutout for Nabokov, a blowout win for the 'Yotes, and a penalty killing breakdown for the Avalanche. http://ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip

What a surprise. St. Louis' newly renamed line (the ''waived' line) hooks up for the game winner against my team. Tkachuk from Kariya and McDonald. You have to be kidding.

Finally, i'll keep Mats Sundin, he's not so bad. 12 games for Wayne Simmons, wow.

Big night for Phoenix. As we continue our scourge of Alberta, some outstanding individual performances result in a 4-goal barrage over a period of 6-1/2 minutes in the second period. Phoenix temporarily takes over top spot in the league as well as becoming the first team to score 200 goals this season.

As regrettable a situation as that was, I have to love the color it adds to the league.

Amusing turn of events in that game.

Maybe your guys found your humor to be similar to the rejected applications on 'Last Comic Standing' so they took the night off.

Martin Hanzal is breathing down Nasher and Gabby's necks for that points lead.

Meanwhile, everyone else goes, "Who?!"

I'd think if you got blanked 4-0 one time after 6 wins against NJ in the test sim, you'd change your lines.

No offense, Rob.

Well, guess I didn't need to start Nabokov. Oh well, I didn't want an embarassing Flyers-eque meltdown.

Worcester's allowed 19 goals in the last 3 games, don't know what's going on there.

Weren't you like 15 points out of a playoff spot last month? Now you're only six back from eighth...
