Negrin is due for a hefty raise after the upcoming season but I'm fine with it. His GA/TA and HG/HT ratio is impressive and his 92 Endurance gives me another huge minute-eating backend alongside Luke Schenn.

For now, I'm getting a young & cheap solid defensive defenseman without moving a player from my roster, which is exactly what I was looking for after trading Ben Wright.
