Landeskog with his first EHEC pre-season goal, Calgary takes the battle of Alberta, San Jose takes the battle of California, and LA gets hosed by the refs.

Fuck sakes, you'd think we could at least get a couple scraps going if the prospects are just going to roll the fuck over like that.

Hey Quinn, what's with your Namestnikov fixation anyway? I mean, other than the obvious fact that he's fucking awesome. :D

idk, but every time I see his name I think "Nah-meh-stank-off" in my head even though I'm 99% sure that's not how your supposed to pronounce it.

Hehehehe.

Yeah, I always thought it was Nam-est-NEE-kov... that's how former Canucks defender Evgeny "John" Namestnikov used to pronounce it, anyway. Either way, it's a cool fucking name. :)

Holy shit, I just learned that Vladislav is actually John's son!

He's also the nephew of former Coyote Ivan Novoseltsev. That's pretty cool.

I could see how there might be a lot of people with that last name. I mean, I'm sure Namestnikov is just like Smith, Jones, or Johnson in the US.

Telegin - Kane - Clowe seems like a solid 3rd line for the present and future. Now to figure out an appropriate way to cycle my 400k rookies to prevent excessive E5 bonuses from being earned...

I'm not sure the refs had to embellish much of anything, Hoefflin pretty clearly 'rack the disciprine.'

There's a good chance that 3 penalties in a game is a season low for that guy.
