The 2020 EHEC Entry Draft will begin at 7 PM Eastern Time on Friday, July 17. The draft order is here for now, but I will set up threads for picks before draft day and those will be kept updated with trades.

It's done! I finally finished the damn draftees, entered them in the file and checked that everything looks okay. Let me know if there are any errors or if I missed anything, and note that the file (players.ehm) is now authoritative in case it gets out of sync with the spreadsheet.

There are 200-odd players eligible for the draft, including 155 skaters and 10 goalies new to the file for this season (including some overagers who will be eligible for the AHL right away), as well as 30-odd prospects passed over the last two drafts in case you find an unappreciated fifth round gem. There are also a few EHM-generated prospects left over. I set them all to terrible 10-20 pot/con so you really shouldn't draft them. If you see any non-real players left over, do let me know so I can kneeca... er, fix them.

I just noticed that I neglected to give the goalies reasonable LE/STR ratings. Actually I think I manually entered FA instead of LE. Anyway, I gave them more reasonable LE/STR values and updated both the spreadsheet and the file. I also realized that I failed to change virtually all of the LE/STR ceilings from 100, but given how slowly LE develops (STR too for that matter) and how little STR ceilings seem to actually do... eh, we'll live with it.

I updated the file (https://ehec.pro/EHEC.zip) with all pending trades. I will update the rulebook with the previously proposed changes tomorrow and create the draft forum/threads. The most important change you should be aware of are:

- ELCs will be cheaper across the board
- POT boosters (<70 POT, 75+ CON) will not sign before July and therefore will only get one chance to boost

Good to hear because we're just 18 hours away! Round 1 begins here.

Note that in previous years we kept a separate total results post. I'm not sure why because it was more effort to maintain and to keep track of picks, so this time I'm just going to put previous rounds in the first post for each round.

Anyone know Florida's GM outside the league? Looks like he hasn't been on in 10 days.

Reminder: the time limit to pick for rounds 2-3 is 8 hours instead of 12. Send a list if you don't think you'll be able to make your pick in time.

If you're on the auto list and want to be removed, you need to let me know.

One more reminder: when you're trading draft picks, please post the full pick information (e.g. SJ 3rd 2020) rather than just the pick number (which you can include if you want but is not mandatory).

On a serious note, this is a reminder that the time limit drops to 6 hours for the extremely consequential 5th round, and that you can auto picks for any team on the auto list.

my last auto pick can it be a player closer to 20 or 20 perferably and not a Goalie please and thanks if thats possible

Missed my 4th but have submitted a list for my upcoming 5th. Will try to stick around for my other 5th as well.

I'm not sure what happened here but I don't seem to see any list after double- and triple-checking everywhere it could have gone. I'll give Colorado the usual 6 hour time frame and hope it gets cleared up by then.

Christoffer Sedoff and Alexander Nikishin's teams got mixed up. Sedoff should be with Carolina, Nikishin with Ottawa.
And Simon Kubicek should be a Hab, not a Bruin.

Right. I fixed those issues. Next up is retirement.
