Brent Seabrook took out Jean-Francois Jacques for 6 months.

With Greg McKegg off LTIR, Florida's over the cap - at 58,128,000 ; need to be 58,012,255.

Jerome Flaake fast-signed for under the minimum.

Sorry guys, haven't logged in in over 2 weeks and just saw I lost Getzlaf for the season.

Now, that makes it 3 IND injuries for my team on Julien's sim nights. I demand that his sims be streamed live.

Way to many ATI's resulting in long-term injuries this year.....or am I wrong? Seems to be happening a lot this year.

There are way too many ATIs, yes, but I don't think the injuries are unreasonable. EDM, NAS and PIT have been unlucky for sure, but most other teams are virtually injury-free.

In the NHL, there are 20 guys who have been on LTIR since October, not including Nathan Horton. Some of them are definitely done (Lupul, Clarkson) or likely to retire (Hossa, MacArthur, Grabovski). By contrast we're fairly generous since only two players of consequence have had to retire since EHEC started (Lecavalier and Kaberle) and even the guys who miss most or all of a season come back 100% the following season.

Yes? Half of the teams in the league have nobody on LTIR now. I would guess that most teams have had just one LTIR-eligible injury all season.

Dan is right and I was clearly wrong.

Sorry for not doing any due dilegence of this.
