Ottawa calling up Poirier to replace Nichushkin put them over the cap - at 58,505,000 ; need to be 58,233,839 (D are healthy so can just demote one of them to get back under).

Sorry about the Ottawa stuff, I did that thinking they had enough space with Tangradi's LTIR. Will demote a D tonight like you proposed.

Since Dwight King is out over a month his salary doesn't count correct?

With Tambellini and Chytil demoted, you're at 58.416M. You're at 23 skaters so demoting any of your waiver exempt fellers would get you the rest of the way.

I thought with King out I was allowed to be over his salary while he is on LTIR. 600K or am I reading it wrong

That's including the LTIR relief for King.

Salaries = 56.960 (this is before the Galeyev demotion)
AHL hits = 0.360 (Prokhorkin and Noebels)
Buy outs = 1.696 (Nemisz and Ribeiro)
LTIR relief = -0.600 (King)
Total = 58.416

With your Galeyev demotion, you're now at 57.936M and good to go.
