A birthday victory for Phoenix highlights tonight's action. The Red Wings drop a bomb on Steve Mason and the Jackets, though the returning Rick Nash still has a solid game. Big win for the Rangers (damn you) while the Hawks beat down the Blues. http://www.ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip includes a messy 3rd period in Chicago.

Big win for the Oilers as they finish out the regular season home schedule! Team will look a little different for next season with the likes of Eberle and others jumping up to the pro roster. 2 games left.

I'll be honest - it was kinda sad to leave work (Rexall) tonight. Sure i'll be back for some NLL ( Rush) and some concerts coming up (Brooks and Dunn & Simon and Garfunkle & Cooper and Rob Zombie) but with my teaching career still at the starting point roughly it's tough to say "see you next season" and "have a good summer" so Tambelini, the coaches and numerous oilers staff and their families. Check out my post in the sports bar for my ever so brief moment on Oilers TV

Tough game from Toronto, but we hold on to win the division. Last two games are a home-and-home against Philly that will determine who we play in the first round.
