I take on 875k in this deal but I think it's worth it. RJ can take face-offs and has a bigger frame. I couldn't see Hudler in the future plans of the Wings, so he had to go.

Hudler gives me the same offensive production as Umberger, but saves me 900k. I'll have to protect him a bit defensively, but I needed the cap room more than the couple DF points.

Sorry to see a former Buckeye leave Columbus though.
