Germany kept it close just like in real life...I wonder if they got screwed on a goalie interference call in this game too? haha

Anyone watch the game by the way? It was nuts, Germany hit 2 posts and one of the sweden goals should have been called off...Germany showed up strong.

I went to the Finland/Belarus game, pretty similar in stats. The fins completely dominated the puck.

I expected a better showing from Slovakia. They weren't even outshot...maybe goaltending made all the difference. Props to Hejduk for currently leading the tournament in goals.

That brings up a good discussion. What was worse? The botched goaltender interference call or the blatant hook by Jagr that went uncalled? Both of them completely changed the dynamic of the game.

Haha, well one resulted in a goal...the other didn't, thats the way i look at it.

There were some very questionable refereeing decisions in that game, like the "trip" on Butenschon right after the bogus goal? That was brutal he just cleared the front of the net and the swede couldn't keep his balance...Pierre McGuire was choked with me haha
