Vik is bad at losing...
Senators continue to rebound after getting off to a slow start...
Lightning still undefeated in regulation with a 5-3 division win...
Stars continue to slide during a 6-2 beatdown by the Panthers...
Leafs shock Pens in a back and forth affair...
Caps beatdown DaveG's Canes...
I'm guessing NYI GM is starting to question trading away his 1st, Sharks win...
Adam gets the extra point...
Flames continue their strong tradition of regular season success...
B's top the Yotes 5-3...

No cap enforcements; I am only going to be enforcing direct orders from the committee.

Winnipeg and Pittsburgh still projected to be over.

Dallas currently over but are only at 68,502,677 and have 24 skaters (including DTD Logan MacMillan) so, as long as their demotion isn't Iberer, they should be fine.

Jooooooooooooooonas!

Going to be real fun when regression hits, since we've given up the most goals in the league, yet we are 4-1-1.

Just noticed that I have Ottawa over the cap too due to the Wruck signing a few days ago (their current is $68M but their projected is 12,040 over). Dan's numbers don't seem to have that though.

So signing him for 1M after 5 games actually means that I signed him for 1,012,040 for the season?

? Wruck's on the farm and his cap hit is 1M, it doesn't count for anything.

Also hey look, a Sharks game with fewer than 4 goals against. It's Christmas in October.

Can I please have your numbers?

With Connolly replacing Heatley for 2 months?

When Heatley is back, Connolly goes to farm.

No, currently you have 71,392,252 for salaries, -3,405,000 for LTIR, and with Wruck you had an additional 1,000,000. That put you at 68,987,252 for the day he was on your team. That along with the 68M you've had for every other game so far, and the current salaries of 68M leaves you projected at 68,012,040 for the season (basically 68,987,252 * 1/82 + 68,000,000 * 81/82 = 68,012,040).

He was on the pro team on October 15th (the day he signed) and Ottawa had a game on the 15th so his salary got included in my numbers for that day. Not sure why it wouldn't be in yours.

You're at 68M thanks to LTIR right now but you were over the cap at the start of the season so the 68M leaves you projected to remain over. I have you at 68,072,000 to date though Dan's numbers are slightly different. If you look through past game day threads, you'll see we've had to try to make some fixes for you.

Oh right, I did the sim on Friday so I ran the cap program before entering the contract.

You were at 68785000 for the first game of the season and you haven't been under since Heatley went on LTIR, so you're still projected to be over for the rest of the season. If you'd been under for the first game, you'd be fine now.
