There will be a number of changes to the roster of AHL affiliates next season. So, after the summer rollover, I'm going to link to a new config_teams.ehm file, that you'll need to upload to your PC at that time. If you don't use the game anymore, you can ignore this. Some of the teams are new, some are old teams with new NHL affiliates.

ANA -- San Diego Gulls
ARZ -- Springfield Falcons
CGY -- Stockton Heat
COL -- San Antonio Rampage
CBJ -- Lake Erie Monsters
EDM -- Bakersfield Condors
FLA -- Portland Pirates
LAK -- Ontario Reign
MTL -- St. John's IceCaps
PHI -- Lehigh Valley Phantoms
SJS -- San Jose Barracuda
WPG -- Manitoba Moose

I've updated the config_teams.ehm file to reflect the new AHL affiliates. File is here:
http://www.ehechockey.com/config_teams.ehm

Also, here are the new logos that you'll need as well:
Bakersfield: Image
Lehigh Valley: Image
Ontario: Image
San Diego: Image
San Jose: Image
Stockton: Image

Config_teams.ehm goes in your top-level "Eastside Hockey Manager" folder. This will change the teams configuration for all of your private games, so save the original file somewhere else if you want, or create a whole new folder for your EHEC game.

The logos go in the pictures/logos folder. Simple.

Right-click on any files and save them where you want. If you don't run the game on your computer, then you can ignore all of this.

At least Nassau can live on in EHM.

I'd love to visit, but I recently found out the hard way that I have a shellfish allergy, so that would take away some of the value of visiting Maine.

I hope the San Jose team plays a snippet of Heart's Barracuda every time they score. California's really cornered the market on the AHL this year.

Wish somebody still cared enough about EHM to create a patch with the new OT rules like the person that made the shootout.

Those Barracuda logos are baaaaad, but on the plus side now nobody can comment on the lack of realism when I send down a player to the AHL 1 hour before a game is set to start.

From the linked article: "The title is a reference to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders. The team plays out of Bridgeport, Connecticut, but adds the 'Sound' in homage to the Long Island Sound, according to Wikipedia. As someone who knew of the town, I read it as "the Sound Tigers of Bridgeport." A 'Sound Tiger' is not a thing. You're welcome."
