Lots of games tonight! Is it too early to talk about playoff implications? Hell no!
OTT Eric "Traded Nine Times" Tangradi gets 1 game for injuring Michael Matheson for 2 weeks.
BOS 3 - TB 2 ... I picture Jason seeing the boxscore and Hedman's -2 rating and going "fucking blow this team fucking up"
EDM 4 - PIT 3 (OT) ... I guess we'll have to get used to hearing "Jared McCann SUPERSTAR" from now on, huh
CAR 3 - DAL 1 ... does CAR end up with the same record every year?
OTT 4 - MTL 2 ... I tried getting this game to OT, I really did
DET 6 - CBJ 3 ... somehow, you just always know Detroit's gonna ruin the Jackets' season
FLA 4 - WPG 3 (SO) ... Mikael "Shoulda-been-a-Ranger" Granlund scores twice, is only 2nd star
STL 5 - PHI 2 ... Somewhere, a binkle weeps
COL 3 - NJ 1 ... Tonight's phrase that pays: " First Star Ville Leino"
LA 5 - VAN 3 ... Kyle Beach must always play in LA
CHI 5 - ARZ 4 (OT) ... Dany Heatley lives!
NAS 2 - SJ 1 ... BERNIER WITH A '9' RATING THO

Let me get this straight:
We can beat Calgary, who leads the entire league, and we can beat Tampa Bay, who is leading the Eastern Conference; but we can't beat Detroit, who is our division's doormat, and blow a lead against Ottawa?
I mean, nice win team and happy birthday to me, but how does this make any sense?

It's Brad's ghost, back for vengeance.
And happy birthday.

Guy is out for over half the season, comes back for 5 games and is out again. That's rough. On the up side, after a month and a half Bieksa has finally finished serving his suspension.
Montreal and St. Louis need a callup.
With Brandon Prust DTD, Pittsburgh will have to get back under the cap (64,065,000).
And Sami Pahlsson's down to a 70 POT.

Fucking horseshit
I set up some sweet lines, go 8-0 in test sims and then get this crap out shot at home and with a retarded number of powerplays. eat a bag of dicks, EHM.

There's a simple explanation to that. Fowler had an equipment problem and went back to the room to get it worked on. Little known fact, you aren't actually required to send anyone to the box to serve a penalty if the offending player is unable. The caveat is that, if you don't have someone in the box when the penalty expires, you can't put someone back on until after the first stoppage following the penalty expiring. So the Bolts didn't send anyone over to serve it and were stuck with just four skaters for a while after it had expired. Hence, your powerplay goal.
EHM's really in depth like that.

You dont really need to go that far. In the NHL, when a penalty expires, if a goal is scored while the penalized player has not really joined back the action yet while a goal is scored, they still count it as a PP goal. I guess Fowler took more than 7 seconds to join the action LOL

It only took 3 months for Leino to score his first.
How about that free agent pickup eh?

If I lose by 1-2 points for the race, I'll know who to blame.

When has that ever happened? Unlucky players get dinged for a minus on goals scored just after getting out of the penalty box quite regularly. Their fault for taking a penalty in the first place.
