I wasnt going to re-sign Mikkelson because I had to re-sign some other guys fist, so getting Mitera for another year as a 6th defenseman + 3 round pick is good for me. Good luck.

Pick up Mikkelson who is and should remain relatively cheap when I resign him. I move the 3M contract off the books for next year. Mitera has been here a while - time for a fresh start for him. It has been difficult to find a home for him. good swap.
