This morning I relieved STL GM Jim Binkle of his duties, and dismissed him from the league.

While we welcome debate and even argument on the boards, Jim's repeated level of base and accusatory discourse in various posts and PMs, and his continued childish and petulant behavior, finally became too much to bear. Accusing other GMs, and by extension league staff, of underhanded tactics, and doing so in ugly, unwarranted tones and nasty name-calling, resulted in my belief that the league is better off without him.

Moving forward, I hope that we can continue to argue and disagree with each other without repeating this recent incident. I'm not going to spend my time policing everyone's words and parsing sentences. I'm also not doing this to add to my level of stress. Having said that, please send me a PM if you have any questions about today's actions, and also if you feel someone has crossed the line in a private conversation about league or other business.
