Suck it, King Henrik.
Imagine how good this team would be with less horrible special teams and goaltending. Or if there wasn't such a wild swing from Ryane Clowe's +21 to Matt Smaby's -10.

I don't think we have every seen so many horses still in the race mid-season before...
In the East, seven points separate seven teams in the pursuit for the final wild card spot. This includes the ENTIRE North East division. The West has a few less horses, now that Anaheim appears to be selling off assets. It is still nice to see Dallas contending for a spot though. Even a team like Minnesota or Philadelphia still has a realistic shot.
Activity is sky high boys! Despite DaveG poking his head in every now and then, there is not one inactive GM in the entire league. What a amazing first half, and cheers to a crazy finish!

My 21 players situation is caused by having 2 players suspended. I gave enough guys to ice a lineup.
Is it still an issue?

Hey they took out my guy first (Scott Hartnell knocked Steve Santini out for 3 weeks). And my paper thin D is already without Souray. Kinda wishing I still had Ehrhoff now.

Suspended players still count towards the roster minimum so you're fine.
Anaheim, Minnesota, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, and Washington, on the other hand, will all need a call up now.
And Colorado is somehow over the cap (64,350,375). How'd that happen? They're also at 23 skaters so demoting anyone will get them back under.
And did I mention Chris Drury dropping to a 76 POT the other day? Because he did. And Erik Christensen is back to punching himself in the face though that happens so often I've stopped mentioning it.

Quincey = also oddly not a repeat offender = 2 games
Getting added to the file now.

Nice win against a "higher up" teams. Now lets see if we can get a little streak going here. Nothing major, just a few games at least to start it. PK wasnt great tonight, an PP should step it up a bit more. Lines have been juggled but they are doing well together..Maybe i shouldnt have put Nitty in, but hey, still got the win.

Is Kyle Quincey suspended for one game? According to team news, Ottawa's Eric Tangradi "is expected to be sidelined for almost a month", which should fall under the "2-3 weeks" category. In fact, Tangradi is already set to return in two weeks. I am asking this because you wrote that Tangradi was injured for one month.

Yeah, that should be the case.
