Ok, just a couple of gentle reminders now that the season has started:

1. I loaded a bunch of new sets of lines last night, even for teams that did not play. There are still issues with incorrect lines, with players double shifting and whatnot. Please carefully go over your lines to make sure they are correct. I don't have time to fix your lines and will auto-line any that are incorrect.

2. Check the new line rules here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4811#p41205. Exceeding the combined NZT + H&G total seems to be our early problem.

3. No more than 3 under-20 players on the farm. 1994 birthdates are excluded.

4. No more than 50 player contracts between pro, farm, and juniors. I will keep repeating this until I don't need to. Or start releasing players myself.

That would only leave room for 4 specs/Jrs

That would mean that every team, on average would have to dump like 8-10 specs/jrs...........

Like even your team NYR would have to dump like 13 specs/jrs

Players WITH contracts. Unsigned juniors do not count.

Some time back I promised rewards for GMs who wrote up team previews for the 14-15 season. I never did follow-up on that, but I am here to do so now. And give everyone until Friday to post said previews. Anyone wanting to post needs to produce something that's more than just a list of players, but it does not have to be a long and eloquent work of prose, especially for those of you for whom English is a second (or third? or even first, actually) language. Rewards will be simple but hopefully worthwhile, like some ceiling points, con points, things like that. And for prospects or players under a certain age only.

Oh hey, it's like early Christmas.

Do I get a bonus for writing an article before there was mention of rewards, then writing another article after being promised rewards, and then not complaining about it when the awards never materialized? I accept fresh-baked cookies.
