Okay, new year, new format! For now, I will not be posting individual game results like in years past. (You have no idea how much time this will save.) Thank you to everyone who sent in lines, although some of you sent incorrect lines -- no double shifts are allowed, so pay attention to those lines! Also, those who did not send lines got auto-lined instead.

No news to report, other than ANA Alexei Bereglazov is suspended for one game for injuring CGY Yaro Alshevsky for two weeks. Plus, NAS player JF Jacques is suspended one game for fighting three times against the Lightning. Fun.

Tomorrow I will plan to sim the 8th, 9th, and 10th, then Friday night will do the 11th and 12th to catch us up to the actual date.

A feature of 1.18 (and 1.17 possibly) is fighting three times in a game gets you suspended.

Yay for the start of season 5!

That will go away when we switch back to 1.16. If we can't, we'll just reset those suspensions.

Fixed the box scores bug.

Just need to fix the script to check for latest scores on the front page.

Fixed. Pat, each time you update the schedules.ehm file with the latest sim, the front page will automatically take it and display the scores (top right) from the most recent day.

Welcome aboard, Mr. Pronger. For auto lines, some of those combos weren't too bad, it'll be something to consider to start the year.

Would've been nice to get a win with this youngster-filled lineup but the Ducks went on full squad.
So I guess a 4-3 loss is somehow pretty good.

But these are just preseason games, right?

Yes. Every team plays 8 pre-season games.
